How to Purchase CogniChart

CogniChart^® can be purchased as a service paid month-to-month and can also be purchased outright. CogniChart provides a top-quality server computer installed at your practice. Your electronic health records will always be available, and you will never be interrupted by telecommunications issues. No software is installed on user computers. Only standard network connections with a server computer are needed. CogniChart supports wired and wireless desktop, notebook, tablet and mini-notebook computers.

Standard CogniChart System

The basic CogniChart system supports an unlimited number of patients, an unlimited number of medical service templates coupled with billing codes, automated health status profiles, automated referral reports, integrated prescription, allergy and drug reaction tracking, a rapid access, practice formulary of prescriptions, a full FDA prescription database, patient registration forms, identification of your practice personnel and their CogniChart data access privileges, and the abilities to print prescriptions on state-approved forms and to print referral reports and copies of patient records.

The basic CogniChart system includes detailed lists of patients and medical contacts, typically physicians involved in referrals. Patient identification includes demographics, health plans and contact information. When needed, you can instantly retrieve patient and medical contact information from CogniChart’s medical data and scheduling views.

CogniChart Options

CogniChart electronic health records can be augmented with options. They include:

Integrated practice scheduling: not just patients, time and personnel, but also multiple services and use of multiple practice facilities. Overscheduling of time intervals is supported. Schedule formats are fully configurable. Encounters are automatically started with scheduled service templates, forms and reports.
Integrated follow-up and billing code retrieval: allows administrative staff to retrieve follow-up instructions, prescriptions, referral reports and billing codes from completed encounters and to process, print, acknowledge and track them.
Integrated template configuration: provided directly within CogniChart, template editors allow practices to configure their medical services, data forms, automated reports and health status profiles.
ScanStation: providing rapid scanning and cataloging of ECGs and other machine records, paper lab results, legacy paper charts, handwritten notes, health plan cards, EOBs and other documents. Fully integrated with CogniChart electronic health records, ScanStation allows a practice to combine electronic records with scanned paper records and become paper-free.
